Where has Demonoid Gone
Well that’s the question, where has demonoid gone. One of the best torrent sites in the world looks like it’s gone forever or has it. After a recent move the demonoid team are having power supply trouble as well as memory issues but they insure us they will be back with a vengeance or a vengeance that is missing some data and user’s. I’ve been with them 5 years so I hope I’m ok. I can only assume it will be the late joiners that will be affected. It’s really bad I spent years filtering through crap on sites like torrent pond and pirate bay to find half of the new torrents are just fake, people trying to con you into buying some stupid player that still don’t fix the problem or just virus’s and then I found the god of all torrents Demonoid does for torrents what Lemmy from Motorhead does for Rock n Roll. You may have to wait a wee bit longer for torrent to appear but at least you download what you think your downloading it was great with no crap. Not only that they are one of the biggest tracker’s in the world so all downloading has slowed since they have been off. The one good thing and I can’t wait is when demonoid are back and I believe demonoid will be is there will be so many torrents that I haven’t been able to get it will be great. So please demonoid come back soon so we can all stop wasting our download usage and getting 5gb’s worth of dog turd until we get a mediocre one.

On the 13th of December 2009 the mighty demonoid are back under what could be testing but who cares the god of all torrents demonoid we have miss you
Demonoid is a website and Bittorrent tracker created by an anonymous Serbian known only by the pseudonym “Deimos” and “Zajson”. The website indexes torrents uploaded by its members. It is the second largest,[1][2] and is the most popular, semi-public tracker,[3] and is ranked the 499th most popular website overall in December 2008, according to Alexa.[4] Demonoid’s torrent tracker had an estimated 3 million peers in September 2007.[3] The site had over 252,427 torrents indexed as of May 3, 2009 (torrents uploaded prior to August 4, 2005 were removed to free server resources).
The site went offline on November 9, 2007, reportedly due to legal threats to their service provider, from the Canadian Recording Industry Association. The site then came back online on April 11, 2008. The homepage announced that the site had a new administrator, and that the old one (Deimos) had left for personal reasons.
On September 14th, 2009, Demonoid’s torrent tracker went down after it was reported that they had experienced a number of computer problems stemming from power outages.[5] The tracker returned to service on November 5th,[6] and the main site returned on December 13th.
Ive been back using Demonoid for a few day and there seems to be little problems with demonoid. Other than some slight congestion demonoid are back.
